distance sessions

you don't need to be in the room to get more space

No matter where you are, our work can translate to virtual sessions.

Most of what happens in a session isn't really about the room. It's about attention — mine, focused entirely on you, for the length of our time together. That travels. The conversation happens over video exactly as it would across a table. The energy work happens by distance, and clients are consistently surprised by how complete that feels — not a lesser version of the in-person session, a different delivery of the same one.

How it works

We schedule your session like any other. At the appointed time, settle somewhere quiet and comfortable where you won't be interrupted — wherever that is for you. We meet by video, and from there I'll guide you through the session and whatever it asks for. There's nothing you need to prepare and nothing you need to know how to do; that part is mine. Afterward there's time to talk through what came through, if the session calls for it.

Why distance doesn't diminish it

All of the work I do has a long history of being practised at a distance — this isn't a modern accommodation, it's part of these traditions' own lineage. Reiki in particular has included distance healing since its earliest practices. The working idea is that energy isn't bound by physical proximity the way objects are; some practitioners describe this in terms borrowed from physics, like non-locality, though that's a metaphor for an experience more than a scientific claim, and I hold it the same way I hold the rest of this work — as a practice built on tradition and what clients consistently report feeling, not a medical or scientific assertion.

It is surprising to people how effective the work is remotely. What I can say plainly is this: something about attention and intention seems to matter more than the miles.

Choosing a length

Distance sessions run 1 or 1.5 hours, and the choice is about how deep you'd like to go.

  • One hour. A focused session — a grounding conversation and a period of energy work, or one of the two if that's what the day asks for.
  • An hour and a half. My recommendation for a first session, and the length that leaves room for an intuitive reading. Time to talk, time to receive, and time to land afterward.

The intuitive material comes through the same channel whether you're on my table or three states away — what arrives isn't a function of the room, it's a function of attention. Many clients say the deeper stillness of being in their own space actually supports the receiving.

Curse & Thoughtform Unravelling is offered by inquiry rather than booked online. If it's something you're exploring, reach out directly and we'll talk through whether — and how — it makes sense at a distance.

Who this is for

Anyone outside the Altadena area. Anyone local who'd simply rather stay home. Many ongoing clients mix in-person and virtual sessions depending on the week — there's no rule that says you have to pick one.

Bring a notebook, if you like

You're already somewhere comfortable — keep a notebook nearby if you'd like to write anything down afterward. I don't send session notes, but your own are always worth keeping.
